Ropar/Rupnagar: connect the land record to the acquisition stage

Research revision · 20 October 2026. Newly researched replacement text, not a recovered original. Sources and remaining limitations appear below.

Rupnagar's district documents distinguish several stages of the Bhanupali–Bilaspur–Beri rail-link process: phase-specific notifications, expert-group material and awards. The index includes a Phase 6 section 19 entry in January 2026 and Phase 7 material later in 2026. These are different instruments, not interchangeable proof that a parcel has or has not been acquired. Rupnagar documents

For a holding near a proposed project, record the village and field numbers, then inspect the actual notification schedule and subsequent orders. A project name or district listing is insufficient to determine whether the offered land falls within it. If the seller refers to compensation, obtain the award and evidence relevant to that exact holding rather than a neighbouring owner's account.

The district also publishes separate collector schedules by tehsil, including Rupnagar, Morinda, Nangal and others. Match the appropriate schedule, category and effective date; do not convert a district-wide agricultural description into a single price. The official planning index separately offers Roopnagar plan/report entries. GMADA master-plan index

Prepare one map-based file linking the deed, revenue identifiers, applicable plan and any acquisition schedule. Use it to distinguish land being sold, any affected portion and the intended use of what remains. Neither an acquisition index nor a plan listing certifies title.

No current market rate, unaffected-parcel assurance or Hobo verification service is established here. Those assertions require the seller's documents, parcel boundary and dated official instruments.
