Land-record research: four jurisdictions, different entry points

New editorial research supplement for the 17 agricultural-land pages. Research date: 18 October 2026 UTC. This is one shared source note, not 17 completed local guides or a title/eligibility opinion.

Punjab — Ropar/Rupnagar

The Punjab Government portal separates Jamabandi searches by owner, khewat, khasra and khatouni; it also provides mutation, Roznamcha and registered-deed functions. Use the deed identifiers to select the relevant record and compare the entries rather than assuming a name search uniquely identifies the land. No private record was queried. Punjab Land Records

The Rupnagar district notification page separately lists land-acquisition notices for phases of the Bhanupali–Bilaspur–Beri railway line. Their existence makes acquisition-notice checking a concrete local research task; it does not mean a proposed parcel is affected. Retrieve the relevant notice and schedule before drawing a parcel conclusion. Rupnagar notifications

Delhi

The Revenue Department's DLRC landing page displays khata records under the DLR Act by district, tehsil and listed villages. Its displayed list is specific: do not treat absence from that landing page as proof of no land record. Identify the village and competent revenue office and then seek the appropriate record. No conclusion about urbanisation, transfer restrictions or permissible use follows from that index. Delhi Land Records

Haryana — twelve queued district pages

The official indexed Jamabandi page describes searches using owner name, khewat and khasra. The indexed mutation-status form asks for district, tehsil, registry number and date. Direct retrieval timed out/failed in this research; no mutation or Jamabandi was checked. Preserve these as source leads pending successful public retrieval, not as verified local procedures. Uttar Pradesh — Ghaziabad, Noida and Greater Noida

The official Gautam Buddha Nagar district site links to Bhulekh and online land records; Ghaziabad maintains a land-record service page. Start from those district links to avoid confusing a private aggregator with the record authority. No individual khatauni or authority-acquisition file was examined. Gautam Buddha Nagar · Ghaziabad land-record service

For every queued locality, the remaining substantive task is to connect the exact village/parcel, tenure, buyer status and intended use to current local law, planning restrictions and acquisition records. A record entry alone is not a complete title search. Current rates, clean-title promises, unrestricted eligibility and Hobo's verification/service claims remain held. Do not replicate this supplement as 17 padded articles.
